Debbie Lewis

Debbie Lewis was an all-star for the Pitt women's basketball team from 1977-82. Over 40 years after her collegiate career, she is still the program's all-time assists leader with 638. In her career, she compiled an amazing 1,941 points. On defense, she had 250 career steals which is still the second highest total in school history. She also still owns single-game records for assists, 18, and steals, 10. After her career at Pitt, Lewis went on to dental school and now has her own practice. In the Fall of 2022, Lewis was inducted into the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame.
