The Blue, Gold and Black Digital Archive is a collaboration between the University of Pittsburgh Library System and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to collect and share materials that reflect the incredible variety of experiences and memories of Black students, faculty, and staff at Pitt.

If you are a current or former member of the Pitt community, we encourage you to share YOUR stories and photos with us. Materials can be submitted anytime from anywhere. Help us tell YOUR story at Pitt with your words and images.

In addition to the content submitted by YOU, the site also includes selected materials from the University Archives managed by Archives and Special Collections within the University of Pittsburgh Library System.

We have organized all the site content into BROWSABLE theme tags. You can also always SEARCH for items too. Some of the material is grouped into COLLECTIONS and EXHIBITS that can be explored separately.

We hope you enjoy the Blue, Gold and Black Digital Archive. Please add your voice and submit a photo or memory today!
