Chris Doleman

Chris Doleman played defensive end for the Pitt football team from 1981-1984. He ended his career at Pitt with 25 sacks, which still ranks 8th in Pitt history. His other successes include playing in the Sugar, Cotton, and Fiesta Bowl games and helping his team earn three Top 20 finishes. After his career at Pitt, Doleman was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings and played 15 seasons in the NFL. He was an eight-time Pro-Bowler, three-time first-team All-Pro, and earned selection to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 1990s. Doleman was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012 and into the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023.
